I am trying do the sweep picking. But when I pick some strings esp the third string at 13 frets,it will have a strong ring after I pick and unpress my finger. How can I mute the ring? Should I leave my palm at the bridge to reduce the ring or I should only lightly press the strings while sweeping? I...

I am using 15ft long cable and I tried to walk away from the amp.
My third string sounds buckle when I use my finger to pick it sometimes, but it sounds fine playing with pick but feedback is strong.

Whenever I press and release the third string,it always gives me a strong feedback noise form my amp.how I can I stop that??Is the problem of my guitar or amp?

When you say sing, do you mean sing the do,ri, me.....??
or just a single sound with different tone ??

if there is a slow groove, can we play whatever speed or rhythm we want to?? how about fast groove,, do we have to pick it fast in order to catch the groove?? I knew using alternate picking can make your picking more smooth and fast,but do we have to use it or we just prefer to use it?
So when is the best way and time to use it?
