剛剛在看閃大推薦的song fact網站裡看到有關beatles的paperback writer是這樣寫的:
McCartney's bass was boosted by using a loudspeaker as its microphone and positioning it in front of the bass speaker. There was some concern that the heavy bass line would make record players skip.
是甚麼意思呢.......

你們這一代已是CD時代, 大概不多人家裡有黑膠唱盤, 那唱頭唱針是放在唱片上刮,
當然只是調到很小的壓力, 所以音響若Bass音太強引起震動, 例如bass強到你家
玻璃櫃都嘎嘎震動, 當然也會容易唱頭跳針, 所以好的貴唱盤下面四隻腳都有很好
的避震器, (勞斯萊斯級的!)

單純看它意思只是說mic放在Bass Amp前收音以便用另外的喇叭(應是PA的)放大, 這要看前後文才知道它的主題在講什麼, 什麼目的.

它就是說用一個loudspeaker放在bass amp前面作為bass amp的mic....
那個原理令我百思不得其解.............
