這首歌詞寫的挺恐怖的,想請教閃大或沙漠,或來自外國的朋友,

這首寫的是早期美國經濟大蕭條那種時光的歌嗎? 還是南北戰爭?或其他?

小,我英文不好,記性更不好....真的有些忘了.
我大約8月的時候在交大圖書館借了一本Kurt Cobain的傳記來讀.簡體字的(還是北京社會局出版的呢).
裡面有說到這首歌,我只記得是有關一個西雅圖的女囚,接受了性別歧視的不平等待遇,Kurt本身是積極投身於反性別歧視及女權運動的,所以她一直很喜歡這首歌.年份似乎是在大蕭條後.這就有待能人詳答了.
我每次聽Kurt唱這首歌,到最後他在哀嚎的時候,我全身一定會起雞皮疙瘩.很刺痛人心的感覺,也會讓我想到他的胃痛.
Kurt也因反性別歧視而槓上了內地人稱之為"槍花"的樂團.後來想想真的他們有這種傾向(打女友;wellcome to the jungle內頁裡的裸女等著被機器人侵犯....),小時候英文不好,長大後看了中文書,小時候的偶像就消失了(不過還是很喜歡slash啦....)
說了一堆,全無重點.閃大,沙漠叔,help......

我第一次聽這曲子是12 弦吉他王﹔ Leadbelly 所唱的黑人藍調歌曲﹐叫 “In the pine" 其他的版本我沒有聽過。

今天聽你們問才知道最早歌詞如下﹕

原來的故事好像是發生在 1900年代初期﹐有位小姑娘被強姦﹐不敢回家﹐羞恥的跑去松樹林躲起來﹐後來強姦他的軍人被砍頭處死。

新的歌詞是否把它改掉﹐變成姑娘老公被宰了﹐頭還留車輪上﹐身體不見了﹐姑娘嚇的跑去松樹林躲起來﹐ 是比較恐怖一點。

Leadbelly 本身也殺過人﹐坐過牢﹐在一次為州長表演時被特赦。

Nirvana另一首歌Polly,我看不太懂他的意思,可以請懂的人幫忙嗎?最近在練自彈自唱這首,可是單字拆開知道,組合起來就搞不懂了.

這個最好讓閃大來﹐這些新歌我大概知道意思﹐但不很確定真正的含義﹐講錯不好。哇﹐現在的歌詞和過去很不相同﹐我很不習慣﹐不太想去研究。 對不起啊﹗

不過也有人說他的詞,很難說的明白,可能只有他自己知道是在說啥.

昨天才在公司裡面聽完整張Nirvina Unplugged In New York專輯
這是收錄在最後一首
一開始稍微聽歌詞
覺得好像是情侶在吵架,女的就跑出去過夜..男的心疼女生..然後在唱的歌
但是在我們了解了Kurt與他馬仔之間的事情以及他的內心,就會覺得這是他與他老婆之間以及他對週遭事物的一些發洩,包括了婚姻關係,毒癮,團員間的猜疑,病痛等等的哀嚎,他將一切的一切用盡全力的抒發在這首歌曲裡面,也特地安排在最後一首歌來作為他後面所帶給世人的最驚人的一個舉動的前兆.
